Located in the woods of the Columbia Forest area of North Waterloo, the GeoTime Trail twists through the woods and skirts the urban areas to provide a pleasant intercity hike for people of all skill levels. Throughout the trail, there are information plaques that inform the hiker of the various geological time periods and what was going on in Waterloo Region during those periods. It is great hike and you can learn a thing or two along the way. It is also a great place to see the wonders of urban wildlife in their natural setting.
