Marbacka is a place to visit when exploring Värmland. I liked the garden that was very well maintained and beautiful. If you want to know more about the life and work of Selma Laggerlöf, you should definitely take a guided tour that takes ca 45 minutes (this is the only way to get in the house). The guided tour was very informative and good.

Its a small shop/museum with LOT of awesomely priced stuff that can be bought at factory prices. I d recommend a visit indeed. The staff is preciously gentle,too.
