What to do and see in Toronto, Canada: The Best Distilleries

March 21, 2022 Viva Honore

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Spirit of York

The Distillery District houses this amazing place. Upon entering Spirit of York, you find excellent customer service, great drinks, and amazing ambiance. It is one of the best distilleries that I have experienced, where the entire place is worth visiting and enjoying a drink at least. We were able to enjoy a cosmo and moscow mule, and both were truly amazing. I would definitely recommend coming during the day to relax and enjoy not only the snacks, but drinks as well. Worth visiting!

Godfrey gave us an incredible experience even though we were squeezing in a visit on the last weekend before a pandemic shutdown. After having visited Japan many times, this visit and tasting brought me right back there. This is a CAN’T MISS in the distillery district and I’m incredibly pleased to see this Canadian success story getting off the ground. WELL DONE GODFREY! We will be back!!!
