A professional Skydiving school, located 30 minutes West of Edmonton, offering training for tandem, solo first jump and advanced freefall. We also offer specific training for competition and information to keep up to date with current events in Skydiving.
I've been thinking about doing this since I was in high school. My son and I had talked about it on and off over the years. He wanted to take me for my birthday once but I chickened out. We are from the east coast and were coming to Edmonton to visit with our son and he mentioned it to me once again. I figured it was time since I'm not getting any younger. It was the scariest thing I've ever done in my life but I am so proud of myself for this achievement. Oli, my tandem master, was amazing and helped make the whole experience that much better. Can't stop looking at the video as I still can't believe I did it!

I'm a frequent visitor to the gallery, Homesteader's Kitchen and the General Store. Beautiful setting and chalked full of local stories, art, crafts and delicious food. I love finding locally made treasures in the store, gift shopping made easy. A visitors must see when in Stony Plain.

The family and I went in July 2015 to look around. I had to go back to see about these dresses. They are LadyBird dresses and the owner of One Man's Treasure is a vendor for this line. While there I bought a Cloche Hat, couldn't wear it outside, we we're having a VERY windy day!! I want to come back Sat. to have a look at the Fascinator Hats. And bring our friend so we can poke around together.

Stony Plain and Parkland Museum is a charming collection of historic buildings laid out as a street with houses, a church, a school and a barn. The 14 acre property also includes a Tea House (open Fridays and Saturdays for lunch) and an interior 1930s street with interactive touch screens. Some of the buildings on the property are available to be rented. The Museum hosts school field trips and weddings and is also a venue for events such as Stony Plain's Canada Day Celebration, The Blueberry Bluegrass Festival, The Cowboy Gathering, City Slickers and The Harvest Festival. Part of the property is planted and harvested using vintage machinery and traditional farming methods.
We are on our way to Alaska and stayed across the way at the CampnClass RV Park. We were excited to see it was so close but turned disappointment finding out it was closed till May 1st.I'm sorry that you were not able to see the Museum during your stay. We are open Monday to Friday year round but don't have weekend staff until the first week of May.

Played here several times and the conditions and layout of the course is very consistent and challenging, greens are always cut and rolled every morning and for a public course that's amazing. Prices are very affordable for the condition of the course. Will always go back . Great food and beverages also at the restaurant above the pro shop.

My wife and I attended the River Cree entertainment Centre to see the "Whose line is it anyway?" live show. The show itself was excellent, very funny....however the venue's acoustics/sound leaves a lot to be desired. We were in the 10th row and yet still had difficulty hearing all that was being said on the stage. We came here for The Cult concert a few years ago and had the same issues. Until they improve the sound quality/acoustics we will unfortunately not go to another function at their entertainment centre. The River Cree brings in some excellent entertainment, but it's too bad the venue just isn't good enough. The management should take a drive down to Spokane, WA and check out a show at the Northern Quest Casino for comparison.

Pegasus offers 1 hr trail rides for $30 for all ages and abilities. Horses and staff are friendly, welcoming and engaging. The trails meander through hills and Forests and for the most part are well shaded. Would recommend a trail ride to get the kids out and active.
Note - weekends are extremely busy (book in advance). We did a weekday trail ride with maximum flexibility.

It's nice to have an indoor playground in two. It's just to bad this place is really only good for one visit for maybe an hour cause after that the kids are bored and ready to leave. To bad
