We visited today to see the film RAMS. The cinema is located up a flight of steps but there is a mobility chair which electronically can be used to take people with a mobility problem up the stairs . The cinema is old fashioned but has the nostalgic look of yesteryear . The candy bar stocks a wide range of products and drinks . Tuesday is seniors day so $10.00 tickets!!! The seats were very comfortable and had plenty of leg room between the rows . Please support this iconic venue as most of the people there today were there to support / otherwise we will lose an important part of our history

The Odeon Star Semaphore is quite simply the best cinema in South Australia, the ticket prices are fantastic, they get the latest movies, plenty of parking. The Proud family who own the cinema are lovely people, they are part of the Semaphore community and the community is better for teir presence in it. I met the Proud clan when they first took over the cinema, what lovely friendly engaging people, they are "genuine" people" , they are always open to a "chin wag" and are very interested in talking about the movies they show.. And they have the best Choc Tops on the planet, thanks Jackie :)

The Regal Theatre is a local iconic landmark - a neighborhood cinema since 1925. October 2020 has seen the 95 year old cinema re-open, with an excellent and heritage sympathetic renovation. Also, comfortable new seating has been installed - most welcome! This cinema combines historic period charm, modern cinema projection technology, comfortable seating and a cheerful ambience, which makes for a happy movie-going experience. Well worth a visit!

This is a very special cinema experience in adelaide - so much art deco heritage and charm. Plus the not-to-be-missed theatre organ. A rare treat.

We enjoyed seeing The Courier here while on holiday. We joined the free club to get cheaper tickets and they accepted my Tasmanian student card. Our cinema was small but comfortable. They are also not allocating all seats at present due COVID.
