Greenock Brewers Barossa Valley

We are a micro-brewery operating in a 100 year old wheatstore in the picturesque village of Greenock in the Western Barossa Valley. We produce only 2000 liters at a time of quality artisan beer using the German Purity Law of 1516. Only the four main ingredients of beer making are used - yeast, malt, hops and water. There are no additives or preservatives in our beer.We offer country hospitality.

We saw a sign pointing to a brewery so thought we would swing in and have a look. Had done a lot of wine tasting and wanted something different. We had a beer tasting which was very reasonable at $12 per paddle. Then we picked one to drink in the sun outside. The owners are lovely even with the Dad jokes. I won’t spoil it, go and visit to experience for yourself. Ask for the heaviest beer

Shifty Lizard Brewing

We’re pretty damn serious about making good beer and having some fun here at Shifty Lizard, and we are reasonably reasonable about doing it responsibly. The beer is what brought us here, it’s why we do what we do, but ultimately the fun is what actually matters. It’s central to our branding, our brewery taphouse in Willunga, our team, and in our beer. You can taste in every bottle with new flavours, scents and sensations and eyeball it on our labels and with every new shifty experience or location. You know you want to join us for a good fun beer. Go on.

This place is a ticks all the boxes when wanting to explore SA Beyond the CBD. Not too far from the city. The location in fabulous with a really nice drive through vineyards on the side of the road, I loved to able to sit outside under umbrellas on a beautiful afternoon trying the tasty paddle of beers. Excellent! We had lunch all having something different, we all loved the tasty food. So generous and accomodating. One of our party was lactose intolerant and it was.no trouble for them to adjust the menu. Thanks chef. I really appreciated the tight menu. The venue is cool environment, tasty food, bathroom good, staff friendly and priced right. ✅✅✅✅ we even bought beers to take home.

Rehn Bier

The Rehn Bier micro-brewery is a must visit for those who love craft beer and have a demand for quality. Utilising traditional brewing methods and a ‘hands on’ approach, every step of the brewing process is taken care of in-house; ensuring full flavoured authentic beer. Brenton Rehn had been home brewing for a number of years before opening a commercial brewery with his wife Robyn in July of 2012. Initially selling at the local farmers market and to a few cafes and bars, demand quickly outgrew capacity and in late 2017 a new brewhouse was commissioned in a commercial shed on Magnolia Street, Tanunda. The wide range of styles all produced on site offers something for everyone, from Pale Ale to Extra Stout, to Belgian style Abbey Ale & Smokey IPA. Seasonal releases add to the range. With 12 taps & a full range of takeaway bottles the Brewhouse Cellar Door is a welcoming & casual spot, ideal for a quiet beer or to catch up with friends. Well behaved pooches are also welcome.

Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery

Had previously been told to visit the Woolshed, so we added it to the to-do list on our weekender to the river land. We were pleasantly surprised. They had a nice range of craft beers, plus cider and a hard lemonade that was flying out of the taps. Great location with extensive views along a bend in the river. Only downside being a fair distance from Renmark so either a designated driver or expensive cab ride to get there. No hot food, but a local food truck was on hand and doing great business. Make sure you visit when next in that part of the state.

Wilkadene - Woolshed Brewery

Woolshed Brewery is located in the 100 year old woolshed of Wilkadene Station set on the banks of the stunning Murray River. We offer our range of award winning ales, cider and our infamous Hard Lemonade & Rude Ruby. We also stock a range of premium Riverland wines. For non-drinkers why not have a freshly brewed local Arossto coffee. We also have a range of soft drinks available. Being a 100 year old woolshed we do not have any kitchen facilities in place to offer cooked meals. We do however sell delicious local produce from our self serve area where you can create your own platter. We also encourage our guests to bring out their own picnics or make use of our free bbq facilities. Each weekend we will get in local food trucks to provide meals. Keep an eye out on our socials for updates. Woolshed brewery is open 7 days a week from 11am-5pm. We only close Christmas Day, Boxing day, New years day and good Friday.

It’s so enjoyable even for adults! My friend said that it would be even better at night with the light-up. Parking is available at the Entertainment Centre (2 hour free parking from 6pm, if there are no events on). Alternatively, we can catch a bus from/to West Lakes.
