Now its been opened to the public by Jailhouse tours, who run daily guided tours of the site, evening ghost tours, escape events, prison experience events and history days. Came here with husband on the guided tour Monica the tour guide was superb heard about all the history which was so interesting and she was so knowledgeable after the tour you were able to go back around and have a look at your own pace was a fab day will be taking teenage children next will definitely be going back again may even risk the night sleep over!!!!!!

The Bath & West show is one of the great Somerset days out. Heavy horses , farm machinery , prize winning cattle, sheep and pigs. Cheese and other farm food , acres of stalls selling everything from clothing to swimming pools. To enjoy it at it's best get there early to avoid queuing , allow time for coffee breaks and invest in a programme for the excellent map. The main avenues are hard surfaced to avoid mud and the loos are being refurbished .
