Bac Fortress

Middle age fortress located in city of Bac. It's partly renovated and you can take a tour into the central tower with a small exhibition about place.

Reviewed By IgorMarkovic - Smederevo, Serbia

Situated in the outskirts of a multiethnic and vibrant place called Bač, the old fortress takes an important role in the region's history and architecture. It has a long history of invasions, destruction and re-building. Today it stands strong with its main tower glowing over the lowlands of Vojvodina. Although it is considered to be one of the most important architectural and historical sites in northern Serbia, it is not overcrowded with tourists, which allows you to enjoy the beautiness of the fortress in peace. This will motivate you even more to enjoy not only the fortress itself, but also the quiet and interesting town of Bač. All recommendations!

Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress

Reviewed By Llubi - London, United Kingdom

Lovely place to visit relax, walk, do exercises, ride a bike. This is a free attraction open every day 24 hours. The view ti the river Danube and Sava are beautiful. Good place to watch the sunset. The fortress is nice... you have some nice cafes and restaurants around the area to seat and enjoy a drink. The park is beautiful full of trees and gardens highly recommend to walk this place. Bring some flat shoes

Heritage Walk is a new cultural and tourist product, which we can use when we want to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of the Western Balkans, a heritage that is still modestly derived from local communities and which visitors have to discover.
