It's a fisher's ville, a calm place where we can fish, eat fried fish, sunbath, keep in touch with native people and take some rest.

Visited this beach in August 2014 and although this isn't the warmest time of year as it's Brazils winter it was virtually empty. It stretches for about 60 km and is lovely sand. At Guriri beach is also a water park which in the winter only opens weekends so never got to visit, although the near vertical drop on one of the slides looked interesting. Also Guriri is also a sight where turtles hatch and make it to the sea. Recommended.

It's a good place to visit, but it's not the best place of the world. There, you can sunbath, play soccer, stay under shadows and drink soda etc.

This old church is basically a shell. Looking at the walls is interesting as you can see the modifications and repairs made to the structure over the years. Interesting but something that should be a side trip of another destination.

This is an excellent place, but a dangerous one as well. This place take part of the history of the city, but is located in a dangerous neighborhood. I mean, there is a lot of thieves and robberies, unfortunately.

Parque aquático de tamanho bom. Piscinas grandes e rio lento bem legal. Toboáguas grandes e divertidos. Tem restaurante que serve porções e salgados. Tem guarda volumes.
Pontos negativos / a melhorar:
- Piscina suja, água sem aparência de limpa, vi até insetos (como besouro) na água. E muitos detritos, e ciscos de sujeira. Azulejos do rio lento com aparência de bem sujos.
- Guarda volumes em péssimo estado.
- Chão do parque sujo.
- Atendimento ruim.
- caixa de som que toca músicas é praticamente pré-histórica, muuuito antiga, e não transmite som de qualidade.
- o local me passou uma imagem de total desleixo por parte dos donos, parece que não é feito um investimento lá há muito tempo..
Fui uma vez e me deparei com isso, achei que era bem melhor, pelas propagandas que fazem de lá. Não pretendo voltar até saber de reformas. Não recomendaria..

It's a church like other, well located and no public tranportation is need to get it. On the other hand, this buildings belongs a dangerous area where there is thieves and robberies.

A igreja matriz de São Mateus localiza-se em frente a uma das mais antigas praças da cidade ( consequentemente do Brasil). Essa igreja histórica passou por diversos perídos de nossa história recente servindo coo refúgio de fé para aqueles que buscavam paz de espírito.
Indo a São Mateus não deixei de visitiar e registar.
Eu particularmente acho seu interior muito bonito e mesmo não sendo da denominação católica sempre que posso entro para olhar a blz e sentir a paz que no seu interior se percebe.
