Kadowaki Family House

This is an old house built as a residence of Oyodoya in May 6 (1769), and displays valuable materials that can be used to show the lifestyle of the late Edo period, such as drawings and household items. The majestic house is wide by 7 in the frontage 11 and wide, with a thick pillar set high next to it, and the magnificent roof of the thatch seems to tell the momentum of the Kadowaki family at the time. The main house is designated as an important cultural property in 1949, and two warehouses and a water mill are additionally designated in 1993. It can be said that it is a large private house represented by the San-in region.
