Risor Kirke

Remember when churches were open to the public? It's a shame that many see a need to lock their doors. This church is beautiful from the outside, but I had wanted to see the inside of the 1647 church, which Internet pictures show to be especially beautiful. I realize that the church exists primarily for spiritual interests rather than esthetic, but the interior esthetics sure would have lifted my spirit!

Risoer Akvarium

Situated at the harbour of Risør it is one of the many smaller Aquariums of Norway, showing its long history of fishing. The pace is quite good for smaller children since there are several touch tanks. On your way through aprox 100 different species you meet cod, salmon and lobster to name a few. In july and august it's open daily the rest of the year only weekends. The entrance fee is 100 NOK which even for Norway is a bit expensive

Hest i Villemark is in a beautiful nature surrounding between Kragero and Risor. We are close to both seawater and Freshwater environment, and that makes us possible to offer exciting activities for private and business groups. Riding tours with or without accommodation, camping in Wilderness with special Sami tent (Lavvu), swimming, fishing, paddling and dancing in barn are just a part of examples.
