Beautiful and very peaceful place if you are lucky enough to get there early in the morning as it could get very crowded later in the day. The lake is so serene, the fall colors in full bloom are amazing. This is a must visit for hikers, nature lovers and photographers.

From where I live it's a day trip for me, and I really enjoy driving up thru the Adirondacks any time of year. I like to take the bout tours of the St. Lawrence River. Beautiful and serene.Do it as often as possible.
