Petersfield is a market town and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 17 miles (27 km) north of Portsmouth, via the A3 road. The town has its own railway station on the Portsmouth Direct Line, the mainline rail link connecting Portsmouth and London. Situated on the northern slopes of the South Downs, Petersfield lies wholly within the South Downs National Park.

Our location is easy to reach from most areas such as Winchester, Southampton or Portsmouth, and the Hindhead tunnel has dramatically improved travel time from anywhere North. The 6,437 yard gently undulating course is a jewel in the South Downs National Park. It meanders its way through delightful countryside with some outstanding views. With USGA designed greens and free draining fairways, it offers all-year-round play and a true test of golf for all levels of golfer. Our modern and spacious clubhouse affords superb views from every window, with our extensive balcony overlooking the 18th green. These fine facilities with excellent cuisine enable the Club to offer exceptional value for Society and Corporate golf days.

Love this course, always open when others are closed. Great greens and new definition has worked. Membership is open at the moment.

What a fantastic service! I would HIGHLY recommend! I honestly can't think of a better way to explore the South Downs. Ordinarily I love riding on flat trails, but would never have attempted the downs. The e bikes are amazing at giving that extra boost to make it up the hills and open up a whole world of stunning countryside and spectacular views to enjoy! Olly planned a fantastic route for us to take which took us around Kingley Vale, Stoughton, West Dean and Lavant. The scenery was stunning! The bikes were immaculate, delivered to my door and then collected - I couldn't have wished for a better service. I honestly can't rate highly enough! Thanks so much - I can't wait to try them again!

South Petersfield Golf Club is a 12 hole pay and play course situated on the edge of the town almost adjacent to the lake. This 3,000 yard course was part of the original Petersfield Golf Club, which relocated north of the town in 1997. It is set in very beautiful and tranquil surroundings with numerous trees and water hazards, and is a good test of golf for every level of golfer.
