Penangbnb was founded in Penang in 2017 by Andy and Joyce Chen—a couple from Hong Kong. Andy and Joyce first came to Penang for vacation, not realizing that they would eventually start a business here. They enjoyed their stay so much that they wanted to create a business to offer others a chance to experience Penang as they had.
