Our kids look forward to stopping into this amazing & magical book store in Parry Sound. Since they were small we’ve been making the trip on the way to our camp site at Killbear. Absolutely worth the trip!

Jessica Vergeer Studios is a studio, gallery and dress shop run by Parry Sound artist and fashion designer Jessica Vergeer. Her downtown Parry Sound location at 18 James Street showcases both her own paintings as well as selected work by other local artists and designers. When she's not busy making her own work, Jessica runs scheduled step-by-step painting classes at her studio. Jessica's dress shop features not only on her own fashion designs - which include hand-made dresses, skirts and tops - but also a selection of clothing, jewelry and accessories from other Canadian designers and fair trade sources. If you're a little more "hands-on" in your approach to art, be sure to ask about the public and private group painting classes that Jessica leads year round.

We used Pardon my Garden for our wedding in Parry Sound and I am so happy that we did! I was planning my wedding from BC and so I was really nervous picking a florist that I hadn't met in person but from the beginning Tanis was so knowledgable, helpful, and great at emailing and sharing ideas back and fourth. I highly recommend Pardon my Garden for any event you have--the bouquets that they made were even prettier then I imagined and they stayed that way for long after the wedding! All around amazing customer service and products :)

I am a business owner who thought giving my staff gift baskets at Christmas might be worth trying. I called Beverly's, and gave them my budget. They created awesome baskets that did not require any input from me and then delivered the finished product to me which I then distributed to my staff. They all seemed very pleased and so was I, because this experience could not have been easier. I would recommend Beverly's and their gift baskets to any employer looking for staff gifts at any time of year.

If you are looking for Native and Canadian made items this is the place to shop. They have a great selection. We purchased a few things (pottery and Canadian made Buffalo leather wallet) The ladies are very knowledgeable and helpful. We have now placed an order online for some Moccasins for Christmas Gifts.

Found some really nice clothing at the Hart store in Parry Sound. I bought several pairs of really nice leggings at some very good prices. I wore these the same day out for lunch and got lots of compliments.
