Merthyr Farm Camping

This is an absolute gem of a campsite. Stunningly beautiful views that incorporate mountains, the estuary and the sea. Incredibly peaceful in the evening. Lizzie and Bryn were really helpful when booking, advice for travel and arrival and getting set up. Everything was well set up for social distancing and sanitation. Plenty of sanitiser everywhere and a range of options from using your own facilities to reserved bathrooms. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend Merthyr Farm.

Snowdonia Alpacas

This is a really enjoyable experience. Gayle the owner and Maddie the helper are so nice and so full of enthusiasm about the alpacas and all the other animals you meet on the farm. My mother is nearly 80 and she was quite nervous beforehand but once we met everyone she loved it and we all want to go and do it again next year. It was our best holiday activity by far. The sheep, cows and pigs eat out of your hands and the alpacas love a cuddle. Everything is so well set up and thought out

Having break in Angelsey and looked for something to entertain our 2 year old grandson. Found reviews of Foel Farm on tripadvisor and thought we would give it a go. It was a great decision the Farm was stocked with well cared for animals, we could feed them and especially enjoyed the rabbit barn. Tractor and quad trailer rides were also excellent. The staff were great and the CoVid regs were very well implemented. There were loads of wash stations with low level sinks for toddlers. If it wasn’t 3 hours away from home we would be regulars. Had lunch in cafe that was nice too.....really enjoyed thanks Foel Farm

What a perfect little place! They cater for all dietary needs.. gluten free, dairy free, vegan.. The pancakes, both sweet and savoury are out of this world (thank you Sarah and your fantastic team). There is a small soft play area (free to use) and a playground, the grounds are lovely to explore with a few wooden carvings, a little woodland area and a workshop where you can have a go on a pottery wheel. Went here with my mum (70) and my son (3 next month) and we had a fab time! Spent 3 hours here and my little boy really didn’t want to leave! Staff are so friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. Animals are so close and fab being able to cuddle the bunnies. Play barn was a bonus when it rained! Would recommend to anyone with young children if in and around Harlech. We drove 50 mins and was well worth it.

Bryn Celyn Farm Shop

Farm shop, café-bistro, artisan kitchen, cookery school. We specialise in making hand-raised pork pies. All of our cakes are made in our artisan kitchen. We sell artisan beers and ciders as well as work of local artists and photographers. We serve an allday breakfast often using our own bacon, sausage hashbrowns and black pudding. There are daily lunch specials - also made fresh in our kitchen by our chef. Sunday lunches are made to order and booking only. "Grill Cider Sunday" takes place once per month in collaboration with Jaspels Cider, an Amlwch-based artisan brewery. On these Sundays, instead of Sunday lunch we barbecue whole lamb on our asada barbecue, cook chicken or ham in the cob oven and roast pork on the traditional barbecue. No booking required for this. xxx

I'd seen other positive reviews of this little shop and visited during my recent stay in Llanberis. My partner and I were blown away by this lovely shop and owner. Samples of home made honey, wine and mead are free with the owners passionate and knowledgeable recommendations. The owner spent time getting to know our tastes and was genuinely excited to help us find things we liked. There was no pressure at all to buy. What was originally us just popping by for some local produce turned into a whole tasting experience that we loved. Thank you very much.

Not sure where the visitors below went but I think they’re getting mixed up! There was a well signed one way system in place, the usual hand wash stations plus sanitiser at every entrance and exit. 9 of us had drinks from cafe and they were all nice plus they recommended a lovely little village for us to visit. Well worth the money and our kids loved it.
