This city forms part of Roslagen, one of the coastal areas of the Uppland province about 80 km northeast of Stockholm. Unlike many of the islands in the archipelago, Norrtälje is an attractive year-round destination. With a variety of quaint shops, art museums and galleries, cafés, and some small live music venues, this island is definitely worth a visit. The yearly “Jazz Days” festival gives the island a charming flair and offers travelers the opportunity to really enjoy the Swedish summer sun. Don't miss this if you're visiting Norrtälje, the capital of Roslagen. An environment you can't see anywhere else in Sweden or maybe in the whole world. Amazing for both old and young. Highly recomended.

Storholmrn is the perfect place to deep in the history of a viking village. You can play funny games, watch ancient workshops or make bread as they used to as well as do a boar rowing trip around the lake. It's really worth it!
