In retrospect, I considered myself privy to the different shops and what Niagara-On-the-Lake had to offer. However there was one local shop I had not yet visited, as of four or five years ago. That store was BeauChapeau. Fast forward to present day and many satisfied purchases later, I have come to know what I was missing out on. Not only that but I have come to realize what a retail store is capable of offering. Not just in terms of product selection, store layout and product quality but also great service and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I personally have grown to have a passion for fine men's hats, particularly driving and Ivy style caps, and this location consistently brings in new styles, colors and fabrics which in turn, keeps me coming back. Ladies if your reading this, please note that while the men's hat selection is considerable, the women's hat selection is vast. If you are planning on visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake, or have yet to stop by and see for yourself, I certainly recommend this shop as being one of the places to visit. Whatever style hat your in the market for, I am confident this shop will have something for you.

Charming studio on the Niagara wine route. Husband and wife team Christine and Reid create glass and textile home decor from start to finish. The textiles are silk-screened, dyed and hand printed in the studio. Our studio/gallery also carries the work of other artists. All of the work is handcrafted.

Lovely shop selling quality, unique gifts for the home. I love that it’s a working studio and the owner/artisans are on site to explain their process. Beautiful handcrafted glasswork and gorgeous linen soft goods for the home. I even got a peak at their tiny garden out back where they were brewing up some natural dyes. A real gem! So excited to see that the shop has re-opened since Covid. The owner artist was busy during lockdown and has expanded into creating lovely hand built ceramic pieces.

This was my second workshop with Terri-Lynn at One Earth. The whip is excellent for all skin types, my whole family used my last jar and loved it. I can’t tell you how good the room smells, you have to try it for yourself! Another great night and a fresh jar to go. Also, the store has some amazing new stock items. I bought a pretty tank and some salts as well. Thank you ❤️

We offer a large selection of mostly Canadian cheeses with several international favourites also available, local charcuterie, Boulart breads, crackers and cheese related products. Spices, olives, pickles, Kozlik's mustard, jams and jellies ready for your picnic. Platters are available, we can prepare them on your best china if you bring that with you. Fresh fruit and other additions are available with advance notice. And now we have Cheese and Crackers to Go-Go, 100 grams of cheese of your choice (Caramelized Onion, Applewood Smoked Cheddar, or Cow's Two Year Old Raw Milk Cheddar) with Raincoast Crisps, Rice Crackers, dried apricots and cranberries, for $9.95! We went in here, looking for a little cheese to munch as we sipped our wine at our Band B. The staff here exceeded any expectations with helpful suggestions, lots of samples and tasting until we found just the right trio. They also stock meats, breads and crackers. Other that the wine and a blanket, they have everything you need for a picnic. Be sure to stop in here when you are in town.
