Moyobamba (Spanish pronunciation: [moʝoˈβamba]) or Muyupampa (Quechua muyu circle, pampa large plain, "circle plain") is the capital city of the San Martín Region in northern Peru. Called "Santiago of eight valleys of Moyobamba" or "Maynas capital". There are 86 000 inhabitants, according to the 2007 census. We enjoyed to immerse in the pools, each with a different water temperature. We arrived at about 15 pm, and it was a little two crowded. I imagine that going early in the morning is more pleasant. Easy to go from Moyobamba by motor bike, 5 soles with a private one, 6 soles with a Municipality 's motorbike. There are lockers, 1 sole per locker, big enough for two day backpacks.
