We live in SA and have been visiting the Kruger and other private lodges for more than 40 years. This year we decided to try Tydons Bush Camp. Tydons is a family run business. Gavin, the owner is a charming helpful man. The kitchen was most accommodating, especially to those who have food issues.We were a party of ten parents, children and grandchildren all on one jeep. Our ranger was Debbie, a very experienced lady who managed to take us to a giraffe birth (2.5 hours) and at night we witnessed a leopard kill and eat a Genet - fantastic viewing. Highly recommended.

Really liked this course. Very friendly pro shop and helpful staff all round. We stayed for weekend on the course in Waterberg Rest self catering lodge and used GC restaurant on occasion. Tight course and requires planning and accuracy. In surprisingly good nick given the drought. There has been some rain, which was evident on the fairways. The greens were superb. Play this one together with the more hyped courses in the Waterberg, must do. Gripe? The quality of the food at halfway was a real blemish.

This is the real deal....the whole process of getting primates damaged by us humans back to release into the wild in social groupings...the interaction with the babies at the end of our visit was heart melting, and seeing those too damaged to be released living...Morethank you for visiting XXX

Our little shop is full nice things to eat and to have. We sell local jams, dried fruits, nuts, biltong, snacks and baked goods. We also have a variety of crafts and gifts. Light meals are available under the shady trees. Clean bathrooms.

Nice place to stop and get your hands on some nice country food. Biltong rusks and the like. Owners went through a lot of effort to give a modern yet inviting look and feel to the place. Definitely worth a visit
