Streetsville

Streetsville is a beautiful little gem in the midst of a big city. It has retained its small town charm with few high rises and lots of quaint shops to check out. Excellent restaurants here. Also a beautiful park down by the river that is fun both summer and winter. Highly recommend visiting!

Absolute World Towers

Reviewed By burr6013 - Mississauga, Canada

Absolute World Towers is a pair of curvaceous, twisted skyscrapers in the Ontario community of Mississauga. Standing at 170 metres (56 floors) and 150 metres (50 floors), the local landmark contains residential apartments on each of its oval-shaped floors. Fun Fact: Each storey of both towers is incrementally rotated to give both buildings a curved and twisted outline. Neat! Chinese firm MAD led the project after it won an international competition to design the buildings in 2006. Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group completed the unique project between 2007 and 2012. Fondly dubbed the Marilyn Monroe Towers by locals, look for Absolute World Towers at the interchange of Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road (near Square One Shopping Centre) within the five-tower complex of Absolute City Centre.
