Very nice environment and relaxing atmosphere. My therapist is very nice and attentive to details. Tried the Spa Perfect package which included body scrubbing and full body massage. Have 30% off for first trial. Be sure to book in advance as the staff at the 5/F counter will check if you have a reservation before allowing to take the lift to 67/F. Overall a great experience.

Redang Island

It's our "hidden gem"! - since 2004! - we have been there five times until now - normally for a week, and its a part of our winter- or ester holidays. What's special with Redang Island? - well, here comes a list :) - some of the most beautiful beaches on earth with clean white sand - crystal clear seawater - no pollution in the sea - a hand full of very good hotels, we stay at the same every time - the locals/ residents are friendly, the younger generation speaking very good english - it's a very safe island, no crime- there is a police- and a fire dept stations - all the hotels have bay watch and the staff is looking after all their guests - there are first aid stations and there is a doctor office on the island What we are doing: - swimming, snorkling, kiting, boat tours/renting, relaxing in the resort, visit the village - have a visit and snorkling in the Marine Park - there is also a golf course - guidet jungel trekking, guidet snorkling tours by boat to the Coral reefs - bird, wild animals watching, - fishing - ok, thats enough for a week :) ( our last visit was some years ago)

Gemia Island

Reviewed By 70linat - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Beautiful views, glorious sand and beautiful, clear sea - the perfect setting for a perfect weekend. Lots of activities to do - non-motorized, as this is a marine conservation area. We kayaked, snorkeled, hiked and swam. Would have gone for scuba diving too if we knew how to :) We could see plenty of marine life in the waters below our water villa - tiny sharks, stingrays, colourful fishes, and fruit bats in the jungle behind. And of course, the resident white turtle in the pool at the front of the resort along with tiny, cute turtlings waiting for their time to be released to the ocean. The staff was friendly and the food delicious. We enjoyed our stay there very much :)

Bohey Dulang Island

Reviewed By NishaJha - Mumbai, India

I liked the view from the top. It's out of the world kind of view. The 650 metre steep hike is a bit difficult but 100% worth it. If not for anything else, Bohey Dulang island should be visited for spectacular views. The breath-taking view of a circular coral reef fringe which is actually a sea-filled volcanic crater. The island has some interesting mythological stories about it. :) There are many other things to do here such as snorkeling, diving, bird watching etc. Good for a day trip. Tip: Wear good hiking shoe.

Kapas Island

Reviewed By 818adelyak

It is my favourite island in Malaysia so far. I have been to Kapas 3 times and each time was unforgettable. So here is my summary opinion on that island. Pros: •clean and turquoise water •lots of fish and sea creatures to be seen, even when snorkelling next to the shore •free Wi-Fi on the beach provided by Terranganu state •white sandy beaches •super chilled vibe •great place for a romantic gateway •very close to mainland, therefore, cheap price for transportation and food/beer runs can be done •very nice people working and living on the island •great dive shop with super nice people working there, highly recommend for courses and fun dives Cons: •not too much to do apart from swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, diving, so if you are not a "sea" person consider a different location for your holidays •not many accomodation options, so if you are going during the public holidays, book way in advance •lots of mosquitoes, bring lots of repellent •not too many cafes and restaurants, stop at the market in Marang before your boat departs and buy lots of fruits and snacks All in all, I consider Kapas a great place for a holiday, but don't go there if you are expecting 5 star resorts or partying in the bars all night.

Mataking Island

Reviewed By searching7 - London, United Kingdom

We arrived on this beautiful island 7 days ago,as the boat pulls up at the jetty you are struck by the crystal clear turquoise blue sea and white sandy beach which surrounds the resort stunning the welcoming committee were wonderful . Unfortunately for them but very fortunately for us the covid 19 has seen them lose all their Chinese guests which meant for the first day there were 10 of us but then there was only 4 at a resort than has the capacity for 200 guests. We were truly spoilt particularly by the restaurant staff the service, room, food and facilities were absolutely amazing. Our original booking was for 4 nights and then move to a different island but it was so wonderful we extended for the final 3 nights of our trip. We booked making for the diving and we were not disappointed. All thetrips we went on were awesome and each one was different we completed 17 dives in total the best being Sipidan island which was unbelievable, barracuda, Jack fish, sharks turtles bunp head bird fish in huge numbers. The equipment, boats and above all the dive guides and their support team were the best we have experienced. We also made use of the spa and our ladies made us feel completely relaxed, scrubbed and chilled. Excellent massage. The fishing trip we went on at short notice saw us catch a bucket full of fish which the chef cooked for our final meal . This resort needs more western guests in order to survive if you want a little piece of paradise, amazing weather, beaches, scuba diving then go to matakng island .
