Welford Road Stadium

We were invited to the Tigers v Gloucester recently including hospitality. My wife and I decided to travel by train - which was excellent and only 14mins walk from the station. Welford Rd Stadium is a compact ground with easily accessed parking and public transport links. The hospitality suite was very well organised with plenty of staff and a couple of relatively famous speakers. The food was excellent. Even better was the result - Tigers won.

King Power Stadium

I live in NZ so don't get to many games. Many years ago I had my photo taken with The Birch. I emailed to say I was attending and wondered if it was possible for an updated photo. The club were amazing, not only wrangling a pitchside meet and greet with The Birch but also presented me with a squad signed ball. Truly amazing day. The memorial garden is a wonderful tribute, the fanstore excellent and the stadium first class

Knighton Park

We have visited with our two young sons quite a lot recently (aged 2 and 4), who love exploring the woodland areas and kicking through the fallen leaves. Our oldest son loved collecting things for a show and tell art project. The two play areas are also great, quite a bit that our boys can do - although the toddler swings require some muscle to push! We tend to park on the residential street on the south side of the park and walk across the playing fields, but there is always somewhere to park close by.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club

Leicestershire CCC is a county that believes in giving young players an opportunity through its thriving Academy set-up. The club has a high-class coaching structure for 2018 with Paul Nixon as Head Coach, John Sadler as Assistant Coach and Andy Siddall as Academy Director. The team won the T20 trophy in 2011 for an unprecedented third time. The Foxes previously lifted the T20 trophy in 2004 and 2006, and have also won the County Championship three times in the club's history. The club first lifted the Championship in 1975, which was the best year in the club’s history given the team also won the Benson and Hedges Cup and beat Australia in a tour game. Leicestershire CCC then completed the remarkable feat of winning the County Championship twice in three years in 1996 and 1998.

We had our company Christmas Party, the food was fantastic, the organisation was great and went hand in hand with how I was organising it, the DJ was just right engaging with the colleagues before the meal started, soft music while eating then a great mix of dance music to cover all ages. Would definitely recommend you will not get Christmas party food any better for 100+ people, it is as if you have just had it cooked just for you.

We love MRA. It is great to find somewhere all ages can go and join in. It is so hard to find places that teens can go as well as younger ones. Rollerskating is a dangerous hobby, there is a chance you might fall, that would happen regardless of the venue. MRA offer protection if you want it, just ask, as the staff are always helpful. The dogs are so well behaved and very cute. Roller lessons are great too. The only thing we would change is more skating times!!
