I do admit we came here in peak season so I expected it to be busy. We still managed to find plenty of space to put our things down. The beach itself was sandy and clean, with the added bonus of a decent sized car park, a bar, toilets and showers. There was a fair bit of seaweed but nothing troubling. The sea is otherwise perfectly clear and ideal to take children to. We did a little bit of snorkeling, but found there was more to see at other nearby Beaches. This one is however a really good swimming beach.

lovely spot on the beach at les tres cales, clean and very pretty bay.
its a long walk from les tres cales villas, (40 mins) so worth taking the car down there as there is plenty of parking.
Would recommend a lovely place to stop for a few hours.

Hey, I should be keeping this one secret! Lovely sandy cove with great swimming. Gets a bit grubby after weekends but so do all the Beaches in Spain despite all the best efforts of the local council.

this is a beach at less than 10 min north Ametlla de Mar. It's a beautiful bay, with a sea showing many colours because of the sandy and rocky sea-bed. There are no facilities and this makes it even better, if you love nature.
Please, do not leave your rubbish on the beach and do not through cigarette on the sand.

This is a small cove with a shingle beach. There is a large campsite close by with a pool which most campers prefer to the sea.
Occasionally weed comes in from the Ebro but usually the sea is clean and eminently swimmable.
In former years the local authorities trawled to remove plastic but since this sevice was withdrawn , it has become a problem .
