Shuzenji Nijino Sato

Reviewed By Virendra-Yadav_2014 - Yokohama, Japan

I visited this place with my 2 year old daughter and another family friends they all enjoyed this trip. Very big place and a lot of places to play/view for children as well as for adults. Very nice scenic train journey inside this park(very small though). Very big parking place if you are travelling by car @300 JPY only very cheap :) . So if you are planning Shuzenji with children definitely recommend this place to visit.

Shuzen-ji Temple

Reviewed By TA21186 - Munster, Germany

Shuzenji is half an hour South of Mishima, but it is worth the detour. The landscape is lovely, the small town/village charming. A real highlight is the temple - it is beautifully situated in its own compund, surrounded by lush vegitation on the adjacent hill. The site is small, it will only take you twenty minutes unless you vist the museum, but I loved it and highly recommend the visit. Spend the rest of the day to climb to Shuzenji Bairn Park (steep, but you will be rewarded by a very nice view onto Mt Fuji) or to vist an Onsen.
