Must see, i recommend you want through römerberg area and opera house on foot then go to main tower, you will definitely enjoy the view and the history of all the buildings you came across. I got 20% off with Frankfurt card that includes unlimited rides of public transit and trip to/from Airport.

This is one of the coolest places in Frankfurt that most short-term tourists will miss. Lots of shopping, bars, restaurants, you really get a feel for urban Germany.

The train stops directly at Roemerberg. It is such a lovely square with all of the old style buildings. The Christmas market was on when we visited so it was very special.
