What to do and see in Hanoi, Vietnam: The Best Coffee & Tea Tours

April 20, 2022 Darwin Bolte

The charming Vietnamese capital has aged well, preserving the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. Hanoi may have shrugged off several former names, including Thang Long, or "ascending dragon," but it hasn't forgotten its past, as sites such as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison attest. Lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city, which is easily explored by taxi.

We had a family morning in the ceramic workshop in the Old Quarter. Our three year old loved it, and was aided very attentatively by Sony. The painting was her favorite part, though we wished there had been brighter colors like yellows and blues to paint with. We will definitely be back for more pottery and painting. Sony also offers pre-made pots for handpainting and glazing in case the pottery making is too intimidating.

Hanoi Old Quarter--When I ask myself about my favorite things in the city I’m living and working at, the over-1000-year-old capital of Vietnam, the first thing that came up in my mind was “Phố Cổ” – Hanoi old quarter . Not many places in Vietnam you can see such rapid, globalized development growth on a rich, conservative cultural background. And certainly, there are not many places in Vietnam that have people who come to find modern entertainments, to simply have a blast and people who come to enjoy the peacefulness and to reminisce the old memories. Hanoi Old Quarter can be so different at different times. Yet there is one thing for sure – the quarter has many things to offer, to everyone. So if you are seeking for a unique and thorough experience in Hanoi in general and in old quarter in particular, this article might be a window for you to understand the Hanoi life a little better.

Inclusions: 4 hours English tour guide , 1 Egg Coffee per guest, Bun Cha in Local Restaurant, Complimentary REFLEXIOLOGY (foot massage) services for 30 minutes @ HANOI OLD QUARTER

I've been to Hanoi for couple of times and whenever I am there, I always go for tour. My most unforgettable and favorite tour was with Nguyen Chuong last July 2019. Everything we need to know about hanoi was provided to us. On top of that, he also entertained us with his witty antics and funny side. Would definitely recommend him and his tour to everybody.
