My second visit, the first was with a cultural tour. Went on a Friday for the second visit and it was even better. No crowds! The shrine was built at its present location in 1222. The shinto priests (I believe that is what they are) were amazing, and spoke perfect English. They provided me with my first shuin! (Shrine stamp)
