It's a small place, with a counter and a few booths. No staff, when I was there, spoke any English, though they were very friendly and we did our best with my limited Japanese. I showed them the menu and asked them to recommend. I had three courses in total, first a plate of raw mackerel, done in three different ways, then grilled mackerel on a bamboo skewer, finishing with cooked mackerel in a cheese sauce. It's all mackerel, and as good a fish-eating experience as I've had anywhere in the world in 65 years. The fish is local, and the deep cold water off Hachinohe breeds an oily fish that they are rightfully proud of. It came to 2700 yen. Amazing.

Had lunch here on 4/22/17. Table for 4 next to the conveyor. Table had a jar of new chop sticks to use and hot water on tap for the green tea. The menu is available in English. Each plate costs about $1.00 (100 yen Approx) and you simply take the plate from the conveyor as it passes by. Whe you finish with the plate, you slide it into a slot on the end of the table and it gets counted toward the bill. If you want something specific, you order via a computer at the table and the dish comes to your table on another conveyor just above the first one. That dish will stop next to you till you pick it up.
Asahi Beer is available in bottles for $5.00 - 20 oz or on tap at a dispenser next to the cooler for the same price. You put a glass on the device and it tips it at an angle and fills it from a spout then tops it off with a head of foam.
Each time you slide 5 dishes into the return slot, the table side computer plays a game with you and you may win a small prize.
Lunch for 4 of us including the three beers came to $50.00 and remember, no tipping.
The food was really good. Very fresh and presented well. I'd go back there if I ever get back to Japan.

蕪島神社を訪れた際、昼食を探していて見つけたお店です。
カーナビに従って海沿いの道を走っていると、大きな看板を掲げいたので、見つけることはできましたが、辿り着くのに少し迷いました。
車1台がやっと通れるような道を下って行った所にありました。
3連休の中日で、お昼を過ぎた時間でしたがお客さんでいっぱいでした。
紙に名前を書いて、建物の外を散歩しながら待ちました。
海に接して建てられていて、岩に大きな波が押し寄せてきます。
運良く窓辺の席に座れました。
迫力ある海が楽しめます。
刺身定食を頂きました。
かんぱち、イカ、ホタテ、ボタン海老、生牡蠣、まぐろのたたき等のお刺身ともずく、昆布いためものの小鉢が付いていました。豪華なお昼になりました。
ラーメンも有名なようで、多くの人が注文していました。
お昼は14時半がラストオーダーのようです。

土曜夕方早めに飲める店を探してぷらぷらしましたが無く 結局ホテル1階の和食処かん東へ。期待していなかったのですが結果正解。本店が根城にある老舗。酢の物の盛合せ 白子天ぷら 刺身盛合せ（鮑入り） イカ刺し ホヤの味噌焼きなどなど。酢の物は酢だけでは無く出汁がきいていているし 天つゆは天ぷら専門店のものより遥かに美味しい。いい店でした。

ＪＡＬのＣＡがおススメの店（何故こんな遠くに？）と聞き、種差海岸ウォークの最後に立ち寄った。駅から歩２分程度。
磯ラーメンとミニ磯丼セット１，１５０円とビールを注文。
磯ラーメンには、ウニ・ホッキ・エビ・カニ・ワカメがのっていて、プリプリのエビの食感とウニの香りが良く、スープも塩味で実に美味く全て飲んでしまった。 磯丼もエビ・帆立・カニ・ワカメを玉子とじにしていて美味しかった。他にもウニ丼１，６５０円、あわび定食３，８００円 うに定食３，８００円等がメニューにあった。仕出しもしているようだった。スタッフが実に自然に爽やかで感じが良く、気持ち良く食事できた。種差海岸に行ったらおススメの店です。

八食市場のなかにある人気の回転寿司店です。地元で水揚げされたネタが多いです。名物のいちご煮もありました。やはり地元産のネタがおすすめです。その日ごとのおすすめも書かれていてわかりやすかったです。

This is a very good izakaya,but you should go for the fried prawns wrapped in gobo and sprinkled with a little salt. Yum!

Fortunately, or unfortunately whichever the case may be, this great cake and pastry shop is right near my house and we often go and buy some of their delicious offerings. The owner has studied in France and has returned with some superb cake and pastry ideas. He also makes his own cookies, and handmade chocolates. While the price is a little higher than other shops, there is real value in what you get!
