December 15, 2017 Kelli Reichel

A town literally carved into the volcanic rock, Goreme is the gateway to the Goreme National Park, a vast UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses spectacular 10th- and 11th-century cave churches. The park itself is known for its chimney rock formations and is very popular with backpackers. It’s also a great area to sample Turkish cuisine and wine.

Initially contacted them by email from home and then called them when arrived in Turkey; the email agreed terms were delivered and everything worked out perfectly for the asked package (red and green tours plus the balloon ride).
Cenghiz was our guide on the red tour and he is very professional and helpful with info beyond the tour; the balloon ride was with Asiana Balloons and it was a wonderful experience in all regards.

I and my boyfriend booked one hour horse riding tour through our hotel and that was amazing experience. I wasn't expecting too much for only 1h tour but we ended up seeing so much of the beautiful landscape and the best part was that there were no one else than just us and the guide Osman who was very nice and confident with the horses. I would recommend this to anyone who's going to Cappadocia. We did the tour in the middle of the day so I think that's the reason why there were no one else because sunrise/sunset tours are more popular but I really enjoyed our ride. Thank you so much!

Our Sultan Balloon ride was a complete delight. So straightforward in every aspect of organisation, from booking online in Australia to drop-off at our Goreme hotel afterwards. And the experience is sensational! We knew the extraordinary Cappadoccian landscape would be stunning but hadn't anticipated the beauty of the myriad balloons rising gently into the dawn sky. We felt safe and relaxed in the skill of our pilot Rafiz and free to enjoy a bird's eye view of this amazing geology. The efficiency and generous spirit of everyone in the team made it really special. Don't miss it!!
