I'm going to be perfectly honest, I did not expect much from the Botanical Garden because it isn't really mentioned in most brochures. However, the displays were quite impressive. If this installation was inside a major urban area, it would probably be a star attraction. Absolutely worth the detour if you're not allergic to bees.

After seeing the Interpretation Centre featured on CBC, we decided to make a stop on our way to Halifax. Guy was a fantastic host and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Railways and trains in Atlantic Canada. After seeing the Train Museum in Hillsborough and several other places, Guy has amassed a great collection of memorabilia. Cool stuff, great people and an experience to remember!

This fort was built during the 1812 war. This blockouse was built to protect Edmunston.
It was fun to walk all the stairs and admire the blockhouse. We had some great views from up there.
There were some panels explaining about this war.
We certainly enjoyed our trip to the blockhouse. It was worthwhile!
P.S. There were no more university students in the Blockhouse in September, The clerk at the Visitor's Center told us to explore the stairs and the views of this blockhouse. We did that and we had fun!

We have stayed here twice on our way to the Maritimes and have been extremely satisfied both times. The park is clean, competently run, well laid out and has excellent facilities for families including a pool, sport facilities, paths and a small tuck shop. Fluently bilingual and friendly the park offers an antique vehicle museum and botanical Gardens amongt its attractions. It sits at approximately the half way point from the urban areas of Ontario to Halifax and is right on the Trans Canada just over the border into New Brunswick. It is a seasonal camper facility with numerous basic and serviced lots. it has clean washrooms, sewage dump and children's playground. Weekends can be busy due to seasonal events in the on site theatre and booking ahead dueing the peak period is strongly reccomended.

The dinner was better then expected. In most casino's the food was inferior to playing, but not here. We had the Valley View Burger and the Chicken Supreme. Both were good, honest food, although not special. The housewine they serve is not good, however. After dinner we played some machines and had fun.

While driving to the Centre Provincial d'Information aux Visiteurs de Saint-Jaques, we were looking at the Mountains. The trees were colorful. It was amazing! After all, it was fall season.
The clerks inside the Visitor Center were nice.
What I didn't expect is that they had lots of pictures of Edmunston as well as pictures of New Brunswick. We were able to travel all over New Brunswick without a car, thanks to these attractive pictures.
They also had lots of information.
I enjoyed my time here. Worthwhile!

Cathedrale de l'Immaculee-Conception

Reviewed By Serviceprof - Naples, Florida

Have been attending services at this Cathedrale for over 50 years. Not as grand as other Canadian or even European town churches, this Cathedrale was part of the fabric of community. This church was overseen by a Monsignor and at one time was serviced by 5 priests. Both my paternal grandparents had funeral masses here as well as many other relatives. The organ is a treasure as are some of stained glass windows. Visit crypts as well
