Parked up at the beach carpark. £2 to park all day, but watch out the parking enforcement were very quick to check you have paid! A great beach, we walked along the coastal path into Dunbar to explore this little working coastal town. An unspoilt and large beach (when the tide goes out). Great for walking the dog and getting some fresh air!

Almondvale heritage centre,Livingston is almost half the price and has as much for the kids and a small shale mine museum for the adults. Easily spend a full day. 5 sisters zoo is also cheaper and a full day.
East Links was very expensive for a large play park which this essentially is. The animals were very friendly and looking for food which costs extra. The adventure golf is OK but costs extra.
There is a water wars area with high powered water pistols to shoot at each other but im not sure if this switches on at certain times. I saw it working 3 times while I was there and the participants were soaked. There are dryers but once again this is extra.
The railway was free and gave information about the animals which is good. The llamas will take food from your hand during the train ride as long as you bought it to take with you first.
Wont rush back due to the cost but may go back during the summer next year so we can use the water wars without being cold wet all day. Saw and did everything in half a day except the water so as above very expensive for what it was but nice enough.

Free Parking, good friendly Pool Staff, excellent Pool and worth a visit for the Pool but boy the Poolside Café is dire!
This afternoon after a good time in the pool, we decided to eat at the in house restaurant. Big mistake, don't think I have ever been so disappointed in service and food quality.
We have dined therein the past and the food has been acceptable but not great. However, the kids had observed Chicken nugget and chips and were so hungry they wanted to eat immediately. Against my better judgement, I agreed and we ordered.
Firstly, I ordered drinks, my can of Diet Pepsi was both out of date and rusty. Use before end Jan 2017 and this is August!. I received an apology and the replacement was also out of date. Bad but got worse. After waiting we noticed most of our order was on a counter waiting on being delivered to our table. After a 5 minute wait we went to the Counter and picked it up. The Soup of the day, Lentil was cold and we refused to accept same. A full refund was demanded and provided.
Absolutely terrible experience. Never again!

So, the guys love Belhaven beer--what trip to Scotland would be complete without stopping here? It was a very informative tour and our guide was very knowledgeable, witty and fun. It happened to be raining the day of our tour and everyone was very considerate and kept the outside bits to a minimum. We have been on a few tours and this was by far the best for the price. The tasting room was, of course, our favorite. We sampled as many beers as we wanted! It was a great way to get to taste different ales and ask questions etc. Highly recommended!
Be sure to book your tour ahead of time as they only run at certain times.

Took our grandchildren for a last pick of raspberries until next year and they tasted fantastic.nice park for the children and the cakes looked great.thanks laura for the advice.raspberries not cheap but try buying in the shops 2 pounds for 150 grams,but as a aged friend of ours says you get what you pay for.

A very picturesque area with interesting castle remains and some great stories linked to its history. You can get a variety of views and the interpretation boards are very informative. You can't access the castle ruins but the kittiwakes do make good use of the stonework for nesting sites.

The building is home to a museum and gallery with changing historical and art Exhibitions as well as a local history display area and research room managed by Dunbar and District History Society. This is a great small museum . Well worth a visit if you in the area. The museum is free to visit. Despite being adjacent to Torness nuclear power station this is a great place to spend some time. We found it good for the kids with the sandy beach and rock pools presenting lots of opportunities to keep them amused. They loved it
