Laguna SOV is a new amazing family entertainment park that consists of a huge outdoor and indoor park for children of different ages, a huge pool and jacuzzi area for kids and adults, with its own Pool Bar, an inflatable park, water park, jacuzzi area, trampolines, fishing lagoon, fisherman's house, restaurant and bar with its own brewery.

We wish we hadn't left this for the last day of our trip or we probably would have gone back. This park had so many things to do, was well supervised, and clean. We went on a Monday afternoon and practically had the park to ourselves. Our elementary school boys loved it-inflatables, pool, water park, obstacle course, and ball pit. There were so many things they didn't even have time to do it all. You also can apply your cost of admission towards food (which was delicious), so we essentially had dinner and 6 hours entertainment for our family for 4 for less than $25 US. I would highly recommend it for families visiting the area.

Pekepolis is the first theme park in Santo Domingo that simulates a real city for kids. At Pekepolis kids between the ages of 2-14 are the main characters who interact with our staff, becoming adults and working in the different roles the city offers. We work under the concept of "Edutainment" where we educate by entertaining. Like all cities Pekepolis has its own currency where the kids get paid for every activity they work at and make a payment for those where they receive a service. They can also open their own bank account and receive a personalized credit card while doing so. With this they can learn the value of money as well as work, and learn to save from an early age. Each experience is based in groups of 10-12 kids with a duration of approx. mins each which allows us to rotate to all the activities. They deserve the best pay there can be and promotions. We just came back from there. Stayed from 12/27/19 thru 1/5/2020. Emmanuel is the best bartender ever very accommodating and friendly and humbolt with lots of respect towards clients. However we are member of the hotel for about (8) years and the Mini suite we were placed in was HORRIBLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE PAY FOR THE MEMBERSHIP. All concierge office personal looks for is for clients to upgrade their membership. We were offer the presidential mini suite only if we would of upgrade very disappointed on this stay regarding this part of the stay. Air conditioner was horrible very HOT in the room also pool was emptied out on Friday for maintenance which was very inconvenient.

Water park is in good shape and not too crowded. We had a lot of fun there. No alcohol inside the water park; that is nice because a lot of small children are present.
