Reviewed By JClaudia - Fort Lauderdale, United States

Doing the Inca Trail had been on my bucket list for a while. My husband, myself and our 3 boys plus friends, a family of 7 (11 in total), had the great fortune of having a friend suggest Terra Explorer to help us with this trip. Valerie helped both our families organize an amazing experience which included a visit to a local community, kayak expedition, 4 days on the Inca Trail, visit to Machu Picchu, Pisac, river rafting and tours in Cuzco. Terra Explorer exceeded our expectations! We had 2 dedicated guides, Jose and Elias who stayed with us for the 11 days we were there. They were knowledgeable, super attentive and made our trip the more interesting and pleasant. Terra Explorer was very organized, the communications with Valerie were always prompt and efficient, the whole team that helped us was amazing, they thought of anything that could make this a wonderful experience. Of course we recommend our wonderful guides Jose and Elias. And we would (and have already) recommended Terra Explorer for people that want an unforgettable experience in Peru. Thank you Terra Explorer!

Andean Paths

The Andean Paths is by far the most famous trek in South America and is rated by many to be in the top 5 treks in the world. In just 26 miles (43km) it manages to combine beautiful mountain scenery, lush cloud-forest, subtropical jungle and, of course, a stunning mix of Inca paving stones, ruins and tunnels. The final destination of the trail just cannot be beaten: Machu Picchu.

Reviewed By Delmiro7 - La Serena, Chile

The Andes are really majestic ... impressive and unforgettable ... anyone on earth would be moved by the experience of walking through them ... every detail was received with insight and experience. In a more practical sense ... our group was made up of people in a range of age and physical condition, Carlos from the Bioandean Expeditions agency was patient and aware of the limitations of the members and the individual demands of the walk as a whole. He is a true treasure to anyone who works or trips with him and I will be delighted in another opportunity to go on another adventure with this agency. Thank you so much!!
