We spend an afternoon at the LCS and we were a bit sceptical, about the nature of this sanctuary. AS you know , there are many so called sanctuaries in ZA , but many of those are rather dubious . However, all our expectations were overachieved. The LCS is a beautiful place for animal / wild cat lovers , and all the ownership and the staff at LCS really do care for the animals , and strive to balance out care and sustainability and preservation for the animals. ( 3 Lions, around 8 Cheetahs and 2 hyeanas) if I remember correct . Most of the animals are tame, as they have been raised by humans , and cannot be released in the wild . I will love to come back to the LCS any time, I had a fantastic time there with the people and the animals .
