What to do and see in Cornavin, Canton of Geneva: The Best Things to do

September 30, 2021 Renato Branum

The shores of Lake Geneva have attracted visitors and invaders for millennia. The cheerful city of Geneva sits on the lake's western shore, lofty snowcapped peaks creating a gorgeous backdrop on all sides. The city is perfect for exploring on foot; rent a bike to venture further. The top of any itinerary should be visits to Geneva's lakefront and its famed water fountain, the Flower Clock in the English Garden, St. Peter's Cathedral, Reformation Wall, Place Neuve and the birthplace of the U.N.

Geneve-Cornavin Railway Station

Me, I prefer the Train when i have to touch Valais from Geneva Airport. As I ve menționed.before,it was a good year. I got to visit 4 countries and an island this year, and most of my Journeys started on Geneva Airport. The fastest and i can say cheapest(if you use the degrifee option) way to travel în Switzerland is The Train. I don t know how others are, but me, when i get back from my trips and enter the Train which takes me to Crans Montana, the place I call home now, i have a sudden feeling of safety, of exaltation and Happiness,i feel freedom, I feel admiration. The nature and the wild landscapes seen on The window of my train awaken a difficult state for me to express in words ... I see beauty, harmony, mystery ... A magical world full of mystery, this is Switzerland for me.To be Honest well i feel like a balloon that deflates(you May laugh about this term), smile smile I always take a seat on the right side of the Train, i stare of people at the Geneve Cornavin Gare, i wait silent for the Train to Pass Lausanne, Montreaux, i watch the lake and its calmness, and then the first Mountains that appear seem so familiar to me.Martigny, Sion, Sierre and i ve arrived. The moment you ve stoped running is The moment you ve arrived....
