May 11, 2022 Nicolette Lion

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Went to Levelup Reality for part of a birthday celebration (6 people) and had a great time. We were all able to play against each other and in teams, and could talk to each other via the voice equipment. There is a coach in your ear helping you along if you get stuck or have equestions. Overall it was a lot of fun, and as a first time experience, I'd highly recommend it.

Carlton Cinemas

Home to the subtitled set, the Carlton plays films -- many of them superb -- that frequently don't see the light of day anywhere else. Many of the offerings originate in France, Italy, Russia, or China; there's also a smattering of independent North American films. Buy tickets early on weekends.

I've been to this theater twice now, it's just a short ride from Union Station by subway. I love the decor with all the vintage movie posters on the walls. It has a real vintage feel to it, not like the cookie cutter big chain ones at all. A lot more character. The bathrooms were very clean, and the staff friendly. The smaller theater was much more intimate than the huge, boomingly loud chain ones. The ticket prices were also much lower than most theaters. I highly recommend this charming little movie house.

We came here and watched Hobbs and Shaw in one of there VIP screens it was such a treat with a private area to sit and have drinks/food before the movie, relax inside the screening with the recliner chair and side table also someone is on hand to get your order of drinks or snacks before the movie starts. A lovely treat for anyone who likes being pampered or wants something a little bit special.
