We were totally enthralled with the Mountain of Nine Lotuses. It is easy to see why Li Bai (701-762) visited in the mountain and was intoxicated with the fascinating scenery of nine lotuses shaped peaks upon green river. He described the landscape in his poem. Mt. Jiuhuashan now boasts ofexquisite architecture and grand structures of temples.

这地方漂亮，

Well actually at my ag and weight it is a huge mountain but for younger, fitter people it is no obstacle. Personally I had to take the climb in three stages to get my breath.
The climb itself is not interesting but once at the summit you are afforded good views of Chizhou city.
At the foot of the mountain they have a small zoo and from what I can gather the inmates are more domesticated pets (rabbits etc) than wildlife.
If you are energetic by all means have a go.

寺庙大门很小，进去之后别有洞天，再到滴水观音处广场，天气好时能观九华山前山后山美景，故有风景最优之说法。寺庙还是拍摄83版《西游记》中《误入小雷音寺》之中拍摄场地，寺庙师父谦和，符合我们印象中的出家人的样子，我觉得很难得。在这个寺庙很舒服，住持师父人很好！

市区别具地方特色的私人博物馆，主要以皖南的木雕、石雕、砖雕为主。门票略坑，可以直接和售票员砍价，反正一天参观也没几个人。实在不建议特地来此参观，因为黄山才是徽文化的发源地，比这里高了不知道哪里去了

在池州贵池区，位置偏且没有公交直达。风景尤好，但村民前些年和政府的纠纷，使得景区停止开发。进入景区只能坐当地村民的木筏，属于强行推销。山下有珍珠寺，在其左斜方有一条不起眼的小径可通登山，很容易被无视。山路大部已被杂草覆盖，适合猎奇驴友前往。
