Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden

A beautiful garden just around the corner from Joey's bar. Along side a main road but still feels peaceful. Lovely tributes in the way of trees planted by the family, Honda UK, the council etc. A path wanders all around so you can see everything. A moving statue of Joey on his bike and one of Robert celebrating victory.

Antrim Castle Gardens

The Antrim Castle Gardens site is an absolute gem and you will find nothing like these 400 year old gardens anywhere else. A recent £6m restoration project which received generous support from Heritage Lottery Fund has now preserved this historic site for generations to come. The Gardens are a unique living museum, with layer upon layer of design features and planting added over the centuries. Indeed, rarely is so much history preserved on one site. The many exceptional features include the ancient Motte, the Large Parterre, the Yew Tree Pond and the Pleasure Gardens.

Fantastic setting, with walks for all the family. There is a vast array of wildlife within the grounds, and a 1km riverside walk adjoining. If you're feeling a little peckish, there is c cafe on site, which serves nice food.

Ballyrobert Cottage Garden and Nursery

A garden for plant lovers! The garden is an RHS partner garden designed and owned by a former associate of Belfast, Edinburgh, and Writtle Botanic Gardens. Only 11 miles from Belfast.

I purchased two delphinium plants on line from Ballyrobert, they were cheaper than a lot of other online gardening outlets and I wasn't expecting too much. Updates on the order were provided, the plants arrived quickly and were both very healthy and a decent size. In a few weeks they are really growing beautifully.

Excellent play park with a large multi platform pirate ship as the centerpiece. Our kid absolutely loved it. They even have a zip line.
