Only experience in comparable areas enables a person to write a qualified review. And that is exactly the reason why I wrote my following review. After many food walking tours in other cities around the world, it is easy for me to rate The-Cape-Town-Essentials-Tour described inhere with five out of five stars. Passion, expertise, experience, friendliness, hospitality, all things that I was able to experience during the tour through the tour guide Elsje. And all of this in combination with the wonderful food and drinks make the experience complete and simply perfect. In short, this is THE tourist experience in Cape Town and should not be missed by any visitor to the wonderful city of Cape Town.

We spent a few days in Cape Town, however we would have missed so much if we didnt do this tour. Our guide not only took us to interesting places but he knew so much about each place and you could tell he really has a passion for Cape Town, its history and its people. Table Mountain was a big tick off the bucket list and our guide knew the perfect time for us to go in order to avoid the crazy long lines we had heard of. The best view of Cape Down is from way up in the clouds and we loved every part of the day !

We took a hike with Bevan, up and down Table Mountain. We started in the back from Kirstenbosch Garden and then down the front, as the cable car was not open. This was a hike like nothing else we have ever done. Bevan was very knowledgeable and made sure we were well taken care of. We saw views, native plants & flowers, and animals that were amazing! I highly recommend AWOL Tours to see Cape Town in it's splendor. Thanks to all who helped organize this day!

If you are a wine lover, this is the tour for you! We were picked up from our hotel, so no worries about having to drive. Shane, our guide, was friendly and talkative, made us feel like old friends. Tasted 8 different wines and 6 cheeses at Fairview wine estate and then another 5 wines and biltong at Marianne. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Recommended.
