Great fun to make something unique or paint something in your own style. Plenty of original ideas to buy or make for special gifts at birth, weddings, birthdays or Christmas. Ideal painting & pottery sessions for children's parties and pottery courses for adults or just pop in and book some quiet time with your little ones. Probably better to book your socially distanced spaces in the current times.

We have used playful pottery quite a few times in the past. Shop has always been so friendly and a nice atmosphere. My daughter loves it. So for her lockdown birthday we decided to surprise her with pottery painting at home. She absolutely loved it. Not going to lie - so did we - my husband said it was really relaxing. They provided us with everything we needed. All the colours we wanted (and plenty of it). The process was nice and easy. Thank you so much! ????

I was the only male there, not a problem, a little anxious as I am not an artist by any means, unless it involves computer networks or building something with nuts and bolts. My Partner booked it for me by means of a surprise and she is very artistic. We were welcomed, offered refreshments, shown where the facilities were. Very nice surroundings, nice garden with tables ready for lunch later on. Shown to where we were going to learn how to 'Paint Pour', lots of room. Our positions had 2 canvases, various pots, water and everything we were going to need for each of us including a tray. Also a table full of different paint colours. We sat down and the first part was being shown what we were going to have to do to create a 'masterpiece' of our own! It was then our turn to practice what we had be shown. I picked my colours from the large selection, followed the guidance from the teacher again to help us. The other teacher was on hand also to make sure we had correctly mixed the colours with the correct thickness and had added the various parts. I wont go into too much detail about what happens next, but to see a transformation from a pot of mixed paint to what I ended up with was incredible. Lunch was really nice, selection of breads, cheese's salad etc in a perfect setting. Then it was back to create our second masterpieces'. We were also shown more advanced techniques as a taster for the other courses to improve on what we had learnt that day. Really interesting and enjoyable. Never felt out of my depth as help was at hand. A big thanks to the teachers, it would of gone horribly wrong if I was left on my own!!
