Lovely lake and walk around. So scenic. If you take the 'road route' up to the castle you can go through it's courtyard without paying and see the view back down to the lake and over the town, then head down the stairs back to the lake. Lovely area to visit.

A very interesting place to visit! At weekends there are shows of those special birds. The responsibles of that park (Zora and Lucien) perform those shows with a lot of passion. Also the information given is very interesting.
Besides of the shows the park has also other things to offer:
There is a Cafe right at the park.
And of course a tour around the bird-cages is really worth while.

All das wird hier lebendig: Die Geschichte der Stadt St. Gallen in eindrucksvollen Räumen erlebbar und vermittelt – daneben auch großartige Exponate fremder Kulturen. Für Alt und Jung ein Ort für Erlebnisse, Erfahrungen & Entdeckungen von der Frühgeschichte bis in unsere Zeit. Wer im Kunstmuseum war, bekommt bei Vorlage der Eintrittskarte diesen Eintritt hier ermäßigt!

E’ situato all’interno dell’area pedonale (qualche cartello in più per raggiungerlo non guasterebbe); di ampie dimensioni è ricco di materiale per i turisti.
Quando ci sono stato (pieno Agosto) però di fatto c’era solo una persona all’accoglienza che parlava perfettamente inglese ma non italiano (che poi è anche una delle lingue della Confederazione!).
C’è anche un piccolo shop (a prezzi ‘svizzeri’).
5. Sparta-Bouldering
Sparta-Bouldering in Buchs bietet Boulderwandhöhen bis 4.70 Meter, Boulderbereiche mit Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten für Anfänger und Freaks, sowie Boulderblock und Dachboulderei bis 7 Klettermeter auf gesamt 450 m2 Boulderfläche.
