In Schloss Bruchsal, only a handful of rooms have been recreated after the damage of WWII. The staircase and marble room are truly stunning, but you're soon 'done' here. I also missed some more explanation of the history of the palace. There was no audio guide available and also very little text in the rooms itself. So it felt like marvelling, but not learning a lot. The outside is really beautiful, but again, I would have appreciated it more if I had also learned about it (without having to resort to Wikipedia myself)

There is a very nice arranged exhibition of historic automated music instruments and organs. Well explained and worth seeing.

I wanted to go back to see the interior of this medieval church but found it closed and then had to opt for a Sunday morning visit when a service was in progress. I understand that one can prearrange a tour and the few opening hours outside the Sunday services are shown on the notice board.

Part of the 'Bruchsaler Schloss' is the Belvedere set about a kilometre apart and up the hill, best of course visited in Spring, Summer of Autumn when the chestnut trees bear leaves and later on their nuts ... The viewpoint of course is great during any season ...
