I love this hill and it’s history. Many years ago I participated in an archaeological dig here and vowed to return! Luckily the weather was excellent and views well worth the climb. We also visited the nearby Hod Hill which is also well worth the effort.

This was a very interesting morning. We made a hand sanitiser, hand cream and a fragrance stick. We looked at the plants that would be distilled to make the oils. The person who ran the course Shelley Baker was very experienced with an excellent knowledge of the subject. All the things we made were tailored to our specific needs. A really interesting and informative morning, I stayed for lunch and the salad with the edible flowers was the most colourful I had encountered and delicious. Lovely coffee too.
