Fortunate enough to have played top courses in China,Thailand, Indonesia & Malaysia and to play this as our 2nd course on our Vietnam tour was very special. The clubhouse & facilities are superb and the course is way stronger than its yardage would indicate.
A great variety on the Hills course with elevated tees, doglegs and palms strategically located that claimed 2 balls from our group.
The great caddies help to make this a wonderful experience.
Only an hour from downtown HCMC this is a golfing experience not to be missed.

Song Be Golf Resort

Song Be Golf Resort first opened its doors in 1994 and is Vietnam's first International Standard Championship Golf Course. Song Be now boasts 3-Nine holes course - Lotus Course, Palm Course & our most challenging Desert Course. Golfers marvel at the beauty of natural landscape as they attempt to tame the challenges presented by the championship layout of the 27 holes. Each course has its own uniqueness & challenges - featuring numerous lakes, natural bush reserves and large undulating greens. The most fearful of all is the Desert Course with longer & narrower fairways, an array of complex bunkers and abundance of sand that requires a high degree of accuracy & forward thinking from the golfers. The Resort is located 22 km. from Ho Chi Minh City on Highway 13 in the fast developing Binh Duong Province, opposite Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) and the newly opened AEON mall. Our restaurant is famous for a panoramic beautiful view of golf course and extensive menu able to satisfy all diversified guests. International golfers and visitors not only savor the impressive international buffet, featuring authentic Asian and Western cuisine but also enjoy a la cart menu prepared by award winning chef.

A large complex that includes pagodas, stupas and a large reclining Buddha atop the main temple. Whilst all language is in Vietnamese it is easy to find your way around. The main gates are a complex design of many images and the different styles of stupas are representative of many aspects of Buddhism. If you are in the areas it is well worth a look

Had a great guide for our jungle walk. The walk on itself was not spectacular (which is normal if you stay in the proximity of the buildings), but we learned a lot from our guide during this walk.
The bear and gibbon rescue/rehabilitation center is nice to visit, but it is quite sad to see how several animals keep pacing -most likely due to their previous life in captivity/being held as a pet.
Overall, best thing was a great guide.

My shock is because Trip Advisor only took TWO YEARS after my request to list this place. In any case, it is a pleasure to review this nature reserve / park. It provides a wonderful 3-4 hours respite from Bien Hoa or Saigon. Beautiful trees, flowers, a small zoo, a lake and walking trails. Take a picnic meal or use in-park food sources. Cool and refreshing, small admission fee, many photo opportunities. Go and visit.

For the price this is quite the amazing place.
I have a six year old boy and we were staying at the resort - see review posted there - so our all day ticket was less than $20usd /e.
The rides are very good, although not up to the top USA resorts. But what makes up for that ten times over is no lines/queues at all. Some rides were actually just waiting for customers to arrive. Imagine that at Disney!
The amusement park has a water park of decent standard included.
The food and beverages were Asian but top value as costing almost nothing.
But this is on the other side of the world for the americas and Europe.
If you can get here it's probably the best thing on the island.
