Iron Nation Axe Throwing

This is a great place for a night out with friends and adult family members. You can easily book a lane online to reserve a spot. Pay at the door when you arrive. There are alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for purchase. You can bring your own snacks in or order delivery to the location. At the start of the 'games', a leader will demonstrate different methods of axe throwing and give you tips so that everyone is able to be successful (my 70 year old father with rotator cuff issues was successful and able to participate happily). The leader will then lead groups thru games and keep score so that you can socialize with your friends and enjoy your night. A great evening out for all (and only for adults which is a nice break for people with kids)!

Barrie’s waterfront is beautiful! There’s always something going on during summer weekends - festivals, celebrations, musicians - lots of activity. During the week it’s great for a daytime or evening stroll along the boardwalk. Fabulous restaurants nearby. The beach is great for a mini summer getaway for the day. There’s even a giant floating water park called Splash On with fun for young and old alike. There are also several boat launches. This is one of my favourite places to be in Barrie!

We were there for a Christmas party. I had a flight and liked all 4 beers I chose. Also had a couple of others. Their pickle pizza is awesome (if you like dill pickles). We also had their nachos which were very good as well, word of warning - they are huge - definitely for sharing! Our sever was great and knowledgeable about the beers as well. I will go again!

Barrie Molson Centre

I won a dinner for 2 at the Horsepower Grill and picked it up tonight. We both got the stuffed chicken with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes, mashed potatoes and vegetables. We also got the house salad and Caesar salad. We both agreed that everything was done perfectly. The chicken was moist and tasty. The broccoli was steamed just right and the potatoes were really tasty. The salads were also very fresh and the dressings were very good. We are already planning our next take out meal from the Horsepower Grill. Can’t wait. Also I just have to say a special thanks to Amanda for making this a great experience. She is very professional and organized.
