Element Ski School

Element is a small Ski School in Verbier with a focus on quality and on making sure our clients have the best possible time on the mountain. The team is deliberately small - a hand-picked group of the very best, most experienced ski instructors. We run a variety of products with Private Ski Lessons, Performance Camps, Off-piste Camps, Women's Camps and Instructor Training Programmes. We want to take your skiing to the next level. It's that simple.

We spent a week with Emma Cairns in Verbier and cannot say enough about the experience to do it full justice. Emma is THE BEST ski instructor we have encountered in a lifetime of skiing. She brings great enthusiasm, superb teaching skill and a thorough knowledge of the Verbier resort. She is also a particularly lovely person with whom to spend a week on the slopes.
Element appears to espouse a truly client focussed approach to their ski school and it shows in their willingness to design client - specific itineraries on the fly so as to provide an exceptional skiing experience each day depending on skill level, conditions and culinary preferences. We felt very well looked after despite the “terrifying traverse” into Highway...
We will be back!

Cherries Walks - Day Tours

Hi I am a Swiss-Americano Mountain Leader. I take people on walking tours (with snowshoes in the winter) all over the European Alps. I am based in Verbier Switzerland and do a lot of guiding here, but I love to discover new places and am fascinated by flora and nature. Let's plan a trip together!

Maison de la Foret

The House of the Forest and its cafe is open daily from the beginning of June to the end of September and week-ends of October from 9 am to 5 pm. Fresh, tasty snacks made from local produce are available. The House of the Forest is a haven for animals in the region. Come and get to know them through the exhibits at the House. There is a playground for our young guests. Free organised activities for children are held every Friday morning in July and August. The lookout huts built on stilts provide an observation point for viewing the surrounding wildlife..

Maison de la Foret is situated at the top of La Tzoumaz on the road up to Croix de la Coeur. It has stunning mountain views and is a perfect place for a few hours of family activities such as easy hikes, landscape drawing and mountain biking.
The staff (Laura and Aaron) are incredibly friendly, helpful and patient and they offer delicious cakes, wine and local cheese /meat platters.

Verbier and the connecting 4 Vallees are a great option for skiers of nearly all abilities. My one complaint is that connecting to the rest of the broader area is tough for intermediates or requires downloading via a gondola.

Verbier Massage Reboutage

Who am I….?  Born in La Chaux-De-Fonds in 1973, I grew up in a very sporty family, and actively practice numerous winter and combat sports Work, workouts, competitions, victories, defeats, injuries ... I can claim to know the price of gold and the backside of its medal!    At the same time, I have been active in the world of therapies for more than 15 years as both a healer & massager. For the past 5 years I have also been working as an osteo-vertebrologue & nutri-coach for private individuals and enterprises such as clubs, sports associations and organizations (for example the infamous Worldtour Freeride). Having personally experienced and undergone treatment after treatment, method after method, and therapist after therapist, I have acquired an instinct of touch that is highly valued by my customers, and which owes its scale to a highly developed capacity of ‘feeling'. My second force is the essential notion and recognition of my own limits, and an extensive knowledge of my field of investigation and practice. My qualifications include that of 'Masseur Osteo-Vertebrologist' (2011) and as an official practitioner in 'Undersign Hydrotomia' with Quinton plasma (2015).

We had 3 days ski school for intermediates. It was a small group lesson with 2 participants only. Our teacher Adam explored and pushed our limits. We learned a lot! There were many different exercises to improve posture, balance, and control. We also got faster and dealt easily with all the red slopes. Quite an experience!

European Snowsport (ES) is Verbier's premier private snowsport school. ES provide a full range of private and group lessons for all ages. Instructors are carefully chosen, speak many languages and love to ski, snowboard and above all see people improve.

We had Matt for a snowboard refresher session. He knowledge and insight was absolutely fantastic. Really made me think about the core skills I had become quite lazy with. He inspired so much confidence in my partner. I have never seen her snowboard so confidently. Can not rate these highly enough. Super approachable, translates techniques into words and demonstration for fluidly, making for such easy understanding.
Look forward to future time out here with these guys.
