The Leskowsky Musical Instrument Museum is one of a kind in Hungary. We have hunderds of musical instruments from around the world amongst the traditional Hungarian instruments take a big and important place. This is not a usual museum. Here you can touch, feel, play most of the instruments. You can sit on the cushions on the carpet or even lay down if you like. Every visitor experiences a one hour live-music presentation in a relaxed, funny manner about the collection. Yes, in English, too!

This famous building is located in the centre of the town. It has a special architecture with an interesting roof with Zsolnay- ceramics. Outside and inside of the building you can see statues and portrait of Hungarian historic people: leaders and kings. You can hear the chime every hour. We were lucky to go into the main hall where wedding ceremonies are held. We have seen the fantastic paintings on the walls.

I made a birdwatching day trip to Kiskunsági National Park with Tamas, from WingsOfHungary.com Winter is a relative quite season, but thanks to the field experience of Tamas, we saw a lot of birds wintering there, including thousand of geese, long-eared owl, bearded reedling, woodpeckers, great bustards... I recommand such a trip if you are birdwatcher. Tamas can pick you up in Budapest with his car.

You can't miss this place. Fabulous designs on the outside of the building. Inside are interesting collections by famous Hungarian painters. The Peacock room is extremely beautiful too.

This is the historic seat of one of King Stevens first two Archdiocese, with a beautiful Baroque Basilica. It's light cream and white coloration are highlighted in the Hungarian bright summer sun! The interior creates a very transcendental ambiance with white, bright gold and fine details. The nearby museum is a new facility just pulling itself together, but you will enjoy the tapestries on the upper floor! The town is also a nice, clean and quiet setting!
