Our hotel is located in the calm town of the South Plain Region, Tiszakecske. It was opened to the public in June, 2014. The resort is situated 100 meters from the river Tisza, within the area of Tisza-parti Thermal Spa, surrounded by a green riverside environment. The 50 nicely furnished rooms of the hotel offer every convenience to our guests: family rooms with separated sleeping place, suites and rooms accessible for our physically disabled guests as well. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the air-conditioned hotel. There is a free outdoor parking place 100 meters from the entrance. Guests who are planning to improve or preserve their health are welcome in our health and medical department, families can enjoy our spa and adventure bath facilities, and for those who wish to recreate and relax we offer beauty services in the hotel. Furthermore, wellness treatment and services of sauna world are available in the Thermal Spa. History The Szabo family has been involved in the operation of Tisza-parti Thermal spa for almost 30 years and since 1999 they have been the owner of the complex. Under their careful management the Spa has been renewed in several phases, and as a result, a modern medical centre, a sauna world and new pools were created. Keep your child entertained in our modern playground and the new play corner placed on the gallery. 13 new four star apartments were officially opened in 2010, which are very popular among our guests. Due to the rising interest in high quality accommodations and the great opportunities of the area the family started its new project of building a four star hotel in 2013. Lots of things to like here but far from perfect
Reviewed By gurkpeterThis review focuses on the hotel itself, not the thermal bath directly connected. Reservation and check-in was smooth. The place is in good condition. We were told that we do not need to wear masks, this was weird, felt a bit like guests are discouraged to keep this basic level of protection. Unfortunately there was a noisy event that we were not notified about (-1 star). The room is nice. Bed unfortunately double (i.e. one big mattress, not twin). Interestingly, they refilled coffee (2-in-1 powdered) and tea but otherwise there was no room service. Breakfast was OK, not bad but also not great. The selection of teas is just standard (one level below discount grocery style). The major minus point here was the selection of breads: close to terrible unfortunately. Also, for those who are used to get quality cereals for breakfast ("musli") will look elsewhere, what they have provided is sub-standard. Buffet dinner was sub-standard on our first night but rather good on our second night. Still, when ordering wine, the waiter does not bring the bottle, not very professional either. You can rent e-bike for 3000 HUF/half a day which is in principle neat but the bikes were not high quality, barely last for <40 km. There are lots of beautiful hiking spots nearby so I would not say I cannot think of returning - but the place is definitely not excellent.

Excellent place to stay
Reviewed By Nicolae NPerfect for a stay away from city life, dozens of accommodations all in villas with all the necessary comforts. Quality Hungarian cuisine, many traditional products that remind you of other times, all quality. There is also a well-appointed spa with a program from 8 am to 7 pm. Horse show, cart ride, you have a few days here in this complex. This location is about a 20-30 minute drive from Kecskemet. Good to put on the holiday list for a few days.

Nice and comfortable apartments
Reviewed By micamickoWe love this SPA, so go there as often as we can. Sometimes we stay in the apartments, sometimes in the hotel which is also placed in the area of the SPA. The apartments are relatively new, nicely kept, very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately it is quite expensive in the high season. We had a technical problem in the house which we noted right away on our first day but nothing happened during the 6 days we were there. That was a disappointment. There is no wifi, which is a very big drawback. I cannot even imagine how it can happen in a 4star apartment! Otherwise I can highly recommend the place.

A very nice place, but there are some problems
Reviewed By nicoleta961We booked two rooms for one saturday night in this very pretty hotel, in a lovely city, and a well known hospitable country ! I can give a 10 for everything, except the fact that, after a long drive arriving at 1.30 am , we were woke up violently by the crushing sound of the nearby church bells at 6 a.m, sweet Sunday morning !!!! It was long, extremely loud and repeated every hour after, but...each time a little softer! The " hard" show was at dawn ! When we told the receptionist, she said she's sorry, but is nothing they can do about it, as this is the tradition ! We considered that people need to know this detail, at least to be warned to use ear plugs ! Anyway, take your eye shades too, as there are very thin , ineffective blinds at the windows.

SPA and fitness area is big, and has few types of saunas. Pool is quiet good to swim and second one with hot water. Staff are nice and polite. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. They have good coffee machine.

Nice Hotel near the track!
Reviewed By sebastianaIphaVery nice hotel located about 10 min drive from the center. There is a big free parking in front of the hotel. Also there is a karting track on the other side, for racing lovers. Reception is on the first floor and the staff was polite and they know English. Our room was big with two separate areas and comfortable big double bed. You have two types of pillows so you choose, which is a great plus. Room was clean and had a safe and a fridge. Breakfast was ok. WIFI also working and fast. Hotel is very interesting, especially for karting lovers and we recommend it.

Excellent stay
Reviewed By T498BQkellysWe spent a lovely night at Fabian Panzio in July 2021. Our room was great, and the central courtyard area is really beautiful and peaceful with trees and flowers. The owners were very welcoming and had great suggestions for restaurants and activities.

Great Hotel - Great Value
Reviewed By bryantnycStayed here for a week in July and had a wonderful time. Great, clean, modern hotel. The AC works excellent and everything seems to be somewhat new. The breakfast in the morning is good, not huge offerings, but good value. I would stay here again! Close and convenient to everything in town. One piece of recommendation: bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body soap for the shower because the packets they give you aren't the best. Other than that, it is a well-run hotel.

Good for a stop near M5 motorway
Reviewed By Doru CI found the hotel by chance, while looking for a place to sleep near M5 motorway, between Szeged and Budapest. Probably not the cheapest solution, especially if you coming from Romania. It's quite a lot cheaper to book online than going directly to reception. However, the room was clean, with all the amenities normally available in a 3-star hotel, friendly staff. The breakfast was good and variate.

Reviewed By danielgondonThe staff had an attitude throughout our stay, very passive aggressive and condescending. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, right in the city center close to the park and cafés. The rooms are okay, the hotel is old fashioned, but clean.
