Sweden's largest waterfall, albeit modest when compared to Waterfalls in Norway. Close to the waterfall you will find a tourist station that offers both food and coffee.The high humidity makes it possible to find different types of plants that are different for the landscape.Even beautiful to see when the woods change color and the water is cooled down to finally become snow and ice.

A few years ago we took part to free sledge ride in the Åre centre and it was fun.
This time the road they let us drive is the same but we needed to pay 10 SEK for parking, (skipass for the ride upwards) and then 2x 70 SEK for driving down with ”the sledge”. We had seen a picture where people drive with Stiga, we were a bit dissappointed to get gliders. My 11-year old son got a yellow rectangle shape glider but it did not glide straight. We changed in the end, my glider had been ok. I tried to explain to the man underhill that this glider spoiled all our fun and we paid a lot of money for this stupid sledge drive. He didn’t speak English. We’ll never go there again.

Awesome summer activity for downhill beginners as well as pros. Take the lift up and ride a wide varierty of superb trails down the mountain. Excellent views and great fun.

Good skiing, but there was no one around to help when one of our party was injured we had to sort it out ourselves. Would have been awful if more serious. Not sure if this is how it is all the time?

A great area to walk, quite easy to reach thanks to road up to the Storulvan mountain lodge. A fantastic 3-course dinner with a wine selection in Blahammeren makes you feel you are staying in a 5-star-lodge, but you aren't. Avoid Fridays and Saturdays in Sylarna, as it gets VERY full, some 200 matresses are available and in use.

Ares largest activities company! We do snowmobile trips, husky tours and have a Ziplinepark! The Ziplinepark is decided into two courses, the Green is for families and the Black takes you on a high-speed tour above the lovely nature of Are, sometimes as high as 60 meter above the ground!

We provisionally booked onto a snowshoe trip, pending numbers to make up the group.
We made the booking in the shop and we're very pleased to meet Alexander who would be taking the group out
Unfortunately Camp Åre never contacted us to let us know that the trip would not be happening. 15 minutes before shop close the day before the trip, nobody answered the phone so my boyfriend had to run into town to find out in person.
Disappointing service Camp Åre.

Visit Duved Church a few days ago and I really liked it! - For me itś more as a Cathedral, because it 's so big and itś visible in a way as no other building is in the surroundings.
Inside it s so clean and make it more spiritual then more decorated can be, I really feel relaxed inside a church like this.

En av få kvarvarande sport och frilufts butiker i trakten. Jag gynnar gärna butiker som dessa som inte tillhör Skistar. Trevlig personal som har tid för just dig. Kan både skidåkning och friluftsliv. Jag som gillar fiske besöker gärna butik även på sommaren för aktuella tips på bra vatten och inköp av.lokala flugmönster.
